Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite L505D-GS6000. Just 2 days ago I was able to access my own and others wifi, but suddenly it kept telling me to plug in an ethernet cord.

Well I've found out that somehow my wifi driver is completely missing. I've tried fn+f8 but f8 is actually missing as all of the others 1-12 show up. I've tried downloading the driver from toshiba but after I restart it nothing is different and the driver is nowhere to be seen.

I also reset my entire laptop back to factory settings and still no wifi adapter/driver whatsoever to be found. I have been working on this for days and I even spoke with a Toshiba rep. But resetting the computer was the furthest amount of advice they could give me without charging me. Also I have looked in device manager and the only network adapter that shows up is the one for the ethernet cord, nothing for wifi!! Please help!! Go to control panel, click system, click hardware, click devise manager tab, scroll to wireless right click it, click properties, click enable, click update driver, click apply and save, close all open windows. Restart laptop, turn on wireless, right click computer icon in system tray, click view all available wireless networks, click yours, enter password if secured network, click connect.
